The scrap metal recycling industry is estimated to be worth over $20 billion dollars. With the United States handling over 120 million tons of recyclables each year, it creates a new way for us to do our part. Primarily recycling Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals, we have been able to add to the already outstanding numbers throughout the United States alone. For Ferrous Metals such as steel and iron from your old boiler or appliance, the U.S. alone has recycled 74 million metric tons which amounts to more than 55% of the volume of all domestically processed scrap. For Nonferrous Metals such as aluminum, copper, lead, and brass from your everyday plumbing and heating products. They account for nearly 70 percent of the total U.S. scrap recycling industry earnings with more than 9 million metric tons processed in the U.S this past year.
In order to do our part, C.H. Jonasson has partnered with Allied Recycling out of Walpole, MA to recycle 100% of the materials we collect from projects. For all information on recycleable materials please visit
